Town of Minas Gerais will receive R$ 100 million for construction of new airport

Approximately R$ 100 million should be earmarked for construction of a new airport in the city of Itajubá, in Minas Gerais. The works are scheduled to begin in March.

Other cities in the same region should also receive resources to work in airports, as announced by the state governor, Antonio Anastasia. In all, about R$ 235 million will be available to be invested in airport infrastructure.

In Caxambu City Airport is also planned to build a section of fire, passenger terminal and fence of protection, plus a renovation and improvement works to the runway and aircraft apron.

In the case of the city of Poços de Caldas, will be prepared engineering projects, as well as Três Corações, while in Pouso Alegre should be studied the feasibility and a project for extension and approval of night flights.
