The supervision to curb the practice of clandestine transport was intensified in Tancredo Neves International Airport in Confins. On Wednesday (27), up to 17h two people had been arrested near the terminal.
The “illegal drivers” entice passengers to be transported in private cars without the necessary license for the service.
The operations also took place throughout the holiday, keeping secret the locations of the blitz that targets the action would not be alerted.
The Department of Highways also tries to warn passengers not to use the service of illegal drivers.
Some drivers already have criminal records and have been reported cases of theft, misplacement of luggage and even rape inside the cars.
